JayBird Byrne, a Queensland-based musician, is widely acknowledged for her talent and passion for instrumental guitar. As an Autistic individual, she describes music as “a translator, allowing me to connect with myself and others, giving me a voice that I would not otherwise have.” Her performances consistently captivate audiences—not only because of her exceptional skill, but also the fierceness, spirit, and instinctive ability she brings to connecting with and communicating through her music.

Endorsements from many top companies acknowledge JayBird’s skills. Legends such as Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani have significantly influenced her style. However, her versatility and creativity are already evident in her highly individual tone, a fusion of prog-rock and metal guitar. What is most significant is the repertoire of original music being produced. ‘Convergence’, her first single, was awarded First prize honours at the International Youth Music Competition, and her recent single 'The Storm', was Runner-Up in the prestigious 2025 Unsigned Only Music Awards. Her strong individuality and musicality underpin her compositions' complex fusion of multi-layered guitar tracks. She is currently working on her first album ‘My Eyes’.
